The ¡°panda¡± float

On August 15th, the annual grand float parade was held in Arequipa, a city located in southern Peru, to celebrate its 476th anniversary. The Confucius Institute at Catholic University of Santa Maria, Peru, joined the event with a giant ¡°panda¡± float as well as a variety of performances with rich Chinese characteristics such as dragon dance, lion dance, folk costume show and Tai Chi fan, becoming highlights of the festival.
