First Chinese Language Lecture for Kids at ROBOkids

On 7th July,2018, the first Chinese language lecture was given by Professor Gao for the kids at ROBOkids.

The Confucius Institute at University of Banja Luka and the ROBOkids achieved an agreement in June saying that CI would offer a two-month Chinese language teching program for the kids at ROBOkids.

During the first lecture, Professor Gao Yang showed some pictures of foods and calligraph to the kids and helped them to find out why Chinese people eat with chopsticks by asking questions. Then the kids were encouraged to learn skills of using chopsticks by playing games.

The kids were so interested in calligraph that they learnt to write a couple Chinese characters in a couple of minutes. The kids also learnt how to introduce their names and nationalities in Chinese.

After the lecture, one of the parents said that the Chinese language course was so interesting that his kids stated he would like to practice Chinese language everyday.
